Dec 18th 2007 8:56PM Their marketing people have called me thrice or uap, and either they didn't give me the updated rates, or have changed their plans, because the guy said its 3500 Rs. (58$) for a 128k unlimited line, 6500 for a 256K one... whereas PTCL offers a 1Mbps DSL for around the same price.
Also, its a fixed installation and not mobile WiMAX - there go my dreams of working (read playing) from a park/cafe/canal bank :-/

Developers shifting away from Windows, and towards Linux and handhelds (Download Squad)

Jul 5th 2007 5:11AM Qt ( http://www.trolltech.com ) is a great choice for platform-independent development ( Windows/Mac/*nix are supported) if C++ is your language of choice.
I've been using Qt since last year, and am really impressed by what I can do with it.
Not everyone is online all the time, and there are some things a browser just can't handle (like processor intensive 3D graphics... which is my domain).
