Heroes: Hiros (AOL TV)
Oct 24th 2006 10:37AM I love the show, but I'm a little disappointed with how they treated Hiro in the diner. Here's a guy who supposedly knows no English, but is suddenly able to speak with the flying candidate? If he could speak that much English, why didn't he say something in English to the painter's answering machine in the first place? It would have been better to have his buddy stick around the diner to translate, but not have seen the flying.
Stare at your own risk: Maaco's Medusa Mustang (Autoblog)
Oct 21st 2006 2:52PM I want to know who he marketing nimrod is who named this vehicle after a mythical creature that is so ugly, that merely looking at it will turn you to stone.
Massive site of Star Trek women (AOL TV)
Oct 3rd 2006 10:11AM I like the concept of her site, but the comments are just a little too angry for my tastes. She could get her point across a lot better if she lightened up and used wit instead.
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150 MCE for $60 (PVR Wire)
Oct 2nd 2006 2:11AM Sweet deal. Too bad it requires Windows Media Edition.
Flip That House Vs. Flip This House (AOL TV)
Sep 4th 2006 3:20PM I love the episodes of Flip This House that show the Trademark Properties people in South Carolina. The problems that they face, the way that they work around them, and the entire process is very interesting. The same series featuring the San Antonio people, though, is just horrible. The one brother with the dog is a jerk, and the women don't seem to have too much going on upstairs. I won't waste my time if it's got them on. I also like Flip That House. However, I prefer flip this house with the SC crew.
Paris Hilton doesn't like Ricky Gervais (AOL TV)
Aug 26th 2006 9:36PM Paris, being an overexposed media whore doesn't make you an A-lister; talent does.
Vanished: Pilot (series premiere) (AOL TV)
Aug 23rd 2006 2:03PM "I thought the show was medicore at best. Gale Harrold and Ming Na just had no chemistry together, which is a shame since both are capable actors."
I have to disagree concerning Gale Harrold; I found his acting on the pilot to be pretty bad, and he seemed like a poor choice in casting. The whole cast seemed to me to be too many improbably young pretty people. The plot had a few cliches (stepdaughter angry with stepmom for amysterious reason, ex-wife / wif rendezvous, law enforcement officer tortured by a past bad incident, said LEO viewed as a "loose cannon" by his authority figures, to name three)that I saw coming a mile away. Even Rebecca Gayheart (oops, another cliche ... the career driven journalist), who shone in "Dead Like Me", is coming off as bland.
This is a thoroughly mediocre show that I don't see lasting more than half a season.
Browster 2.0 makes MySpace (barely) bearable (Download Squad)
Aug 14th 2006 11:55PM Downloaded it. Tried it. Uninstalled it five minutes later. It took too long to load and crashed my firefox session. It also couldn't display a myspace page that I was trying to view to evaluate the product.
Hannity does what now? (AOL TV)
Aug 10th 2006 1:51PM I'm a conservative, and I think Hannity is a douche bag. Also, Obed, "their" is possesive; they're = they are.
FOX won't commit to a full season of The O.C. (AOL TV)
Jun 29th 2006 12:00PM I agree that this show has jumped the shark. I hung in there for a while, but finally stopped watching after the surfer kid fell off the cliff and died.
