Oct 23rd 2009 1:55PM Question: I'm currently running XP Pro and want to use the student edition to do a clean install of Windows 7. For various reasons I'd like to do this clean install on a new hard drive. Would it be possible to use this method to create a win 7 boot disc and just start everything up with the new drive in the laptop and then use the student key to activate it? I was concerned that windows wouldn't consider this an upgrade and would disallow me from activating it.
Sep 17th 2009 11:35AM Since upgrading my phone has been locking up (screen dead) and requiring a soft reset about twice a day. I've also noticed that when I do a normal power off that the main unlock screen will reappear during the final stage of the power off procedure. Like, it just pops back up and I can actually unlock the phone then a few seconds later the power off completes. I'm restoring mine back to 3.0.1http://limitededitioniphone.com/where-can-i-get-an-old-iphone-firmware/
