Jun 17th 2011 4:35PM @Prboi As I said, there's no reason to pre-order at -gamestop-. As you can see, they usually only order enough stock to cover pre-orders...I'm sure this is partially to create a sense of NEED to pre-order for future cases. To the others, of course there are times when you should pre-order a game. Hell, I pre-ordered LBP2 CE from amazon 6 months before it came out. But places like gamestop give me no -economic- incentive to pre-order because they do not give incentives like Amazon does with their lower prices and expedient shipping so that I don't even need to set foot in GS; furthermore, they dissuade me from doing so since it's apparent they want to try to push everyone to pre-order EVERYTHING. Literally, if you can buy it, they will try to push you to pre-order it, even when it makes no sense to do so. I was asked if I wanted to pre-order a controller....not a limited edition controller, but your standard controller (I can't remember which console).
Jun 17th 2011 2:34PM In this day and age, there is almost zero reason to pre-order anything from gamestop. Most games are readily available day one, and even the collectors editions are plentiful. The only things worth pre-ordering are new consoles since they tend to be in short supply.
Mar 9th 2011 12:09PM Another added feature is that it will make your 3DS as big and bulky as a Sega Game Gear.
Mar 7th 2011 11:35PM LTE based on GSM? As you point out, GSM uses TDMA, but LTE uses OFDMA(dl) and SC-FDMA (ul). Users are scheduled by resource block pairs and mapped to a time-frequency grid. The part of LTE that would be similar to GSM is TDD LTE, which is what the chinese are getting. We are getting FDD.And the author was referring to CDMA being older vs. HSPA, which, is true.
Mar 7th 2011 5:49PM It's not a comparison of CDMA to HSPA, it's EV-DO vs. HSPA. CDMA is basically the counterpart to ATT's GSM.
Mar 4th 2011 1:01PM That should be TDD LTE: time division duplex. Not really relevant for America, since we are using FDD LTE.
Dec 17th 2010 10:27AM This would be a good idea. However, the iPad would probably need at least 1 GB of RAM because all of those 2,000 plus page bills would surely crash the damn thing.
Dec 9th 2010 5:36PM It's not even $75 worth. The AC adapter ALSO comes with the iPad. At least, it came in my box. Also, Amazon has what seems to be that entire accessory pack for $25.
Dec 9th 2010 5:13PM "Update: Folks in the comments are saying this deal is nothing special. Your mileage may vary -- if you don't need all the accessories and the cables, then feel free to buy the iPad at its normal price."A 5 minute window-shopping trip to Amazon.com would have shown you right away that this is "nothing special." Hell, $750 for the 16GB wi-fi iPad should instantly send warning signals.
Dec 9th 2010 3:43PM Yeah, this is terrible. I have a great folio style case with several tilts that I got for $15. And a picture frame holder? You can probably get that at Dollar Tree. $250 for this stuff is laughable. Mike, if this is a good deal to you, I've got a bridge I can sell you.
