Frankfurt Preview: Saab Turbo X (turbo)charges in (Autoblog)

Sep 9th 2007 3:16AM Fantastic looking car with a great engine. I'd gladly take this over the STI and EVO for the looks and the interior. I can't stand the giant wings and other ricer adds on those cars.

New Matrix coming Spring '08 (Autoblog)

Feb 13th 2007 10:04PM According to what I've read on the new Corolla it is going to have a 2.0 L engine and I guess Toyota wants to differentiate the Matrix/Blade from the basic Corolla. If this means a much thirstier engine but more pulling power (it does have more cargo space) I guess they are willing to sacrifice.

Feb 10th 2007 3:02PM Didn't the 1990 era Acura Integra have something like this? Take a look here:

GM upgrading NY engine plant to build new V8 (Autoblog)

Jan 18th 2007 9:57PM You have to admit the vast number of engine choices at GM make your head spin. They are wanting to introduce a new high feature 8 cylinder engine, and still keep the older NorthStar?!

The older NorthStar should be taken out back and shot! It's power output is very close to the high-feature 3.6l v6. If GM needs any more output they should simply increase the displacement to around 3.8 liters. The block has always been expandable from 2.8 to 4.

What I'd love to see is a highly focused General Motors with highly focused products. Stop duplicating work and focus your efforts.

Subaru's diesel boxer (Autoblog)

Sep 30th 2006 1:59PM I had been looking for a used Subaru Impreza or Outback 2.5 non-turbocharged years 2003 or newer. Every single one I test drove had problems with the engine. They never ran smooth or started easily and struggled to last this long. There is a piston slap problem with this engine that still hasn't been fixed. I can tell you right now Subarus are not made to last.

Road Racer: Mosler MT900 GTR (Autoblog)

Sep 25th 2006 1:04AM I would like to see an all wheel drive car powered by the ls7. 0-60 in 3 seconds flat anyone?

Sep 14th 2005 1:49AM You guys are getting excited about a product that's over a year away and will cost several hundred dollars? Get real. OpenOffice ( http://www.openoffice.org/ ) is completely free and version 2.0 that is on par in most ways with MS Office should be released before the end of the year.
