Steve Jobs comments on iPhone developer restrictions (Download Squad)

Apr 11th 2010 5:55PM "Maybe the government should mandate this"

Geez, are you serious? While we're at it, why don't we all speak only one language, wear all the same clothes, and read only the government newspapers?

Steve Jobs comments on iPhone developer restrictions (Download Squad)

Apr 11th 2010 5:44PM C'mon. Does anyone REALLY take him serious? Even so, he's not in any way openly dissing all those other companies.

Steve Jobs comments on iPhone developer restrictions (Download Squad)

Apr 11th 2010 2:24PM Steve's arrogance is unsurpassed in the industry. He called Adobe "lazy" and said Google's mantra of 'Do no evil" was bullshit. When was the last time anyone saw a CEO of a major corporation act this way? It's one thing to be a sore loser, bit he's at the top. Sore winners are just plain ugly.

And as far as quality goes, why won't he focus on some of the ridiculous quality apps which exist today? Just because it is written in Obj-C does not make "Pull My Finger" a quality app.

Let's see, Jobs has pissed on: his own developers, Verizon, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, all the music, video, movie folks and I'm sure there are folk at AT&T which aren't too happy with him. He better hope what goes up (Apple stock) doesn't come down, or else his board might see how approaching the world with a smile on one's face rather than a scowl, may help Apple become a better citizen in corporate relations. In other words, fire him.

Sega Toys Brain Checker keeps you on your toes (Engadget)

Dec 29th 2007 10:48AM Brain Checker is a 'Dr. Itami' product by Human Code Japan. It is slated by SEGA to be released in the US. I received one from Dr. Itami himself when in Japan a week ago-- and it's pretty cool. No Japanese needed to operate.

UltraMon: Extend your Windows screen to many monitors (Download Squad)

Oct 31st 2005 4:31PM "UltraMon doesn't require that the additional monitor be hooked up to its own PC." Your blog is a bit confusing. It appears UltraMon works with 'connected' monitors, iow monitors connected to the pc you're working on. Unless I'm mistaking, I can't find anywhere where it let's you hook up to a 'non-connected' monitor. And, if you already have a multiple monitor configuration, then UltraMon helps you manage your windows/apps across the multiple monitors.

Save file size by turning off image previews - Today's Imaging Tip (Download Squad)

Sep 12th 2005 6:01PM This isn't really an important issue, as most folks who save files in Photoshop for web use the 'Save for Web' option, where you can fine tune the save settings. I think this post could end up confusing more people than helping them. Just my 2 cents.
