Jul 31st 2007 5:09AM You might be interested to know that MarcoPolo 2.0 (which is just about to come out of beta once the localisers finish their work) does not require network locations. It also extends the "location" metaphor to contexts, adds more evidence sources and actions, and, in my (admittedly biased) opinion, blows the socks off all other similar programs, including this one.

MarcoPolo is free, and sometimes you get much more than what you pay for. While David Chartier's comment is true in general, I think MarcoPolo *is* better.

Home Zone - user actions based on Bluetooth or Airport networks (Download Squad)

Try MarcoPolo (http://www.symonds.id.au/marcopolo/); it's free software (open source), has more features than Home Zone, and works with more than just AirPort and Bluetooth.

For example, http://www.tuaw.com/2007/06/05/home-zone/ implies that my beloved project (MarcoPolo) is significantly lacking, which is completely wrong, even according to your own coverage of it about a month earlier! I sent you a correction, but nothing came of it!
