Dec 15th 2010 4:35AM In this case I think that this "reporter" has been paid to deliver FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt) advertisement masquerading as a regular article.
I hope he has sold the last piece of his integrity for a hefty sum.

Brammo cuts Enertia price to $7,995 (Autoblog Green)
Nov 11th 2009 4:50AM I know why they have lowered the price! They are making us in europe pay the following purchase price: 11995 Euros (approx 17963 US dollars!)

VW's Stefan Jacoby doubts mainstream affordability of EVs in the next decade (Autoblog Green)
May 18th 2009 8:49AM I suggest we DON'T do any bailout of WV here in Europe. Mr. Jacoby and the rest of the muppets from HQ should really experience the joys of unemployment.
Companies that do not have plan B (regardless is that plan is enviromentaly sound - read: EVs or not) are plainly stupid.
Just to remind them: Car companies are here to make cars that WE (the consumers) want. If we say: jump - their only answer should be: how high?
Finland is the place where the Mitsubishi iMiEV wants to be (Autoblog Green)
Jan 11th 2009 1:52PM Answer from Mitsubishi Netherlands on my inquiry regarding availability of iMiev in NL was that car will be on the market in 2010 and that at present that is all that they can tell me.
Obviously some markets / dealerships in Europe are being chosen as pilots. Finland is a logical choice because of the cold climate (big enemy of batteries) and widespread availability of electrical plugs in parking spots - which are currently used to power heaters which keep the internal combustion engines from freezing in winter months.
Christmas gifts Apple could give me (TUAW.com)
Dec 20th 2008 8:49AM I wish for new year for Apple to realise that they can not (and should not) invent every piece of electronics under the Sun.
It is time to start building partnerships, Cupertino! How about start talking to companies that have similar DNA (Sony, Bang Olufsen, Loewe, Philips to name just a few) and start building pertnerships, cross licencing agreements. You have done a good deal or two with early iPods and WV and BMW. We need more of that.
Arrongance will only bring you so far. Once when you are a major player - it is the time to start listening to what others have to say.
Case in point: BangOlufsen knows a thing or two about design but they have no clue about digital media. In return they have large network of shops that could easily sell iMac's and AppleTVs.
Rolls-Royce CEO hints at electric Phantom (Engadget)
Oct 24th 2008 2:17AM This is a significant bit of news. There are still hundreds of millions of people out there who see Rolls Royce as the pinnacle of car technology but would not give electric car a second look. If RR comes out with electric car that would make a lot of people to stop and think a about it. Not to mention other car manufacturers who are also watching what few "leaders of the pack" are doing.
Well done RR! I will take electric WV Passat or Project Better Place compatible electric Ranault Laguna but I will give my respect to you.
Apple 24-inch Cinema Display hands-on (Engadget)
Oct 14th 2008 2:48PM UPDATE: Price in NL will be 849 euro - therefore they are asking a bit less the 53 euro for all the extra goodies (LED backlight, environmentally friendly stuff, webcam, usb hub and nice design) - NOT BAD PRICE!
Apple 24-inch Cinema Display hands-on (Engadget)
Oct 14th 2008 2:45PM I just checked the prices on DELL website: Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP comes at 796,11 euro. Apple store here in Netherlands has not yet been updated with new monitor - but if it is 899 euro - 100 euro premium for webcam and usb hub is not bad at all!
