Jul 22nd 2008 5:33AM It looks like the company has heard too many of such complaints from users not seeing any sense in paying for the service so today they are making all their products completely free (and ad-supported in the future). I've received the news from them by email and posted my thoughts about it at http://www.profy.com/2008/07/22/calgoo-free-calendar-sync-tools/. Interesting to know how many users will decide to adopt their tools now that they are free.

May 29th 2007 4:11AM I think the most interesting aspect of this story is that Joost is trying to be just everywhere. And placing their logo on an Indy car means that they want the brand to be recognized not only by the tech-savvy crowd but by the general audience of Internet users. I think they want people to say "Saw it on Joost" similar as they tell "Saw it on TV" for Joost brand to be very closely associated with IPTV, almost being a synonym of IPTV.
