Scrabble Helper helps you improve your Words With Friends gameplay
If you play Scrabble (or a scrabble-like game) from time to time, you may want to check out Scrabble Helper. This simple website is a godsend when you're at a loss for words. Simply enter whatever letters you have, and the word you'd like to connect with. Scrabble helper comes up with a whole bunch of suggestions sorted by score.
The site lets you select one of five dictionaries – Scrabble International/US, Lexulous International/US, and Words With Friends. Some people might say this constitutes cheating -- I think if the other side knows you're doing it, it's definitely not cheating. And it doesn't take the challenge out of the game, because implementing Scrabble Helper's suggestions and deciding which words you'd like to connect with still takes a fair bit of thought.
Very handy, though perhaps not one for the Scrabble puritans in the crowd.

That site seems much more complicated than Scrabulizer.com -- with Scrabulizer, you just enter the game-board exactly as it stands, type in your letters, and it visually shows you the best words possible, sortable by score or value.
It works for normal Scrabble as well as with Words With Friends, and another half-dozen variations.
Just saying.

I'm surprised this is even an article, I play words with friends and wordfeud quite a bit and this is cheating.

It's always so easy to detect when someone is cheating with these. It's the most un-obvious words in the planet, one after another.
What's worse is when my dumb moron friends try to pass this off as them playing. I'm sorry, but when you drop down "QUAICH" as a word, and pick up 80+ points because you connected 3 words off of it, I resign immediately.
That being said, sometimes you can get legitimately stuck. These websites/apps are handy to have in those situations, but c'mon, don't just play move after move and try to take credit for it.
Also if you are in need of a "download" (instead of just a website), on Android, "Scrabble Helper" is a solid app.

@Jaymoon
That's a pretty low bar for quitting. I use "fancy" words on occasion, mainly because I remember them from when they're used against me. I've never used QUAICH before, but I'll never forget the time some brainac played MUTULE against me for 700 points on a random tile board. I had to look it up to see if it was even a real word. heh

If you get legitimately stuck, you need to either pass, swap tiles, or throw up a crappy two letter word and be done with it. There's absolutely no excuse for cheating like this.

@kevjohn2011
Sorry, I must clarify. When I know it's people that don't use these words (or even know they exist), and they *repeatedly* play them, that's when I end the game. 10 out of 10 times when I confront them about it, they come clean.
But I'm all for trying to play crazy words, and placing tiles in weird spots just to see if it works. But if it happens every turn, it seems very suspicious to me.
