GoToMyPC app for iPad lets you access remote computers on-the-go

Fire up the app on your iPad, and you're presented with a list of computers you've previously enabled for remote access. Connections via Wi-Fi and 3G are both supported, and all communication is 128-bit AES encrypted. GoToMyPC also features touch and gesture controls, which, of course, you'd expect from an iPad app.

Oh no, after such a long wait it is bad; honestly, it lacks any finesse and I can not believe it has had the testing they have been claiming for months.
To move the mouse around you drag your finger but the pointer is right under your finger tip so how do you see it. (check out how Teamview does it, much better) If you drag the mouse around in any kind of Zoom level then the whole screen moves most of the time. Forget trying to use dual monitor setup. Forgetting trying to highlight text to copy it!
Sorry guys -- big thumbs down from me. Our account manager at Citrix promised me big things for this App a few months ago. Shame.
On a positive, and trying to keep it constructive, it can only get better

@DAJ Thanks for the insight! Any chance you can tell us how it compares to TeamViewer HD?

@Lee Mathews I tested TeamViewerHD a few months ago while I was waiting on GotoMyPC's offering. I was only using the free version and it annoyed me with the popups at the end of a session telling me about the paid version. (a small hindrance, but the fact you can have it for free does suggest I don't need to be told every time that I can buy it too). Anyway...
The best part of TeamViewer is def. the mouse movement. You put your finger anywhere on the screen and drag around; your mouse moves in the same direction but can be elsewhere onscreen and keeps the same distance from your finger. This means you can actually see what you are clicking on/highlighting. It seems a little odd to start with but you 'get it' within a few minutes. Equally, to clicking on something you click anywhere on the screen and where ever your pointer is will be what is clicked. So if your mouse is over a check box it will check. With GoToMyPC the check box is totally covered by my finger so I have no idea if I am clicking it, or something right next to it.
We are a corporate user of GotoMyPC so we are kind of tied in to the service for now, but I know in the future, when I have time, I can look at alternatives as I have now seen their App. I had been holding off looking at alternatives while Citrix pulled together their App.
Shame really, as the GoToMyPC system itself is very very good
