Facebook 2.0 for BlackBerry coming soon, adds chat and improved looks
Facebook's native app for BlackBerry is about to receive a major overhaul. Version 2.0 of the app is coming soon and will bring it on par with Facebook's apps for iOS and Android.
A few screenshots of the new version have surfaced, and they show that the app will have built-in support for Facebook Chat and its user interface will be completely revamped. You will also be able to view friends lists, profile information, and pages straight from within the app.
Facebook 2.0 for BlackBerry is set to come out in beta form at some point in March, while the final version will be released in May.

it kinda figures now that I'm about to give up my BB for an android...the current FB BB app is horrible...it's buggy as all hell and one time even put my phone into an endless reboot loop...

@sanman ditto for me except replace android with WP7. In any case, for those staying in Berryland it's about time they got a functional app. 1.9 just barely crossed the threshold into "not complete and utter suck" territory, so they're making progress....slowly

Still no "Share" button though, which rather limits the app in my opinion.
