Samsung Video Editor now available for some Android 2.2 phones
Samsung, rather stealthily, has released a Video Editor for its Galaxy S and Vibrant Android 2.2 phones. The APK is available for those of us with different phones, but early reports suggest that it only works on Samsung's flagship phones for now. Keep an eye on the xda-developers thread, though: they will probably work out how to get it running on other phones soon.
Functionality-wise, Samsung Video Editor looks fantastic. You can trim video clips and join them together. There are various special effects that can be applied, and you can change sound tracks. There's even a variety of export options!
And yes, in case you're wondering, editing video on your phone will suck your battery dry.

I wish they would work on a way to have a battery that doesn't need charging every day; now that, I'd be impressed with. With the gfx and other intensive appa on mobiles today, the hardware manufacturers really need to re-think the battery.
