Dolphin Browser for Pad enters private beta for Android tablets

With Android 3.0 set to arrive soon on a slew of big-name tablets like the Motorola Xoom, developers are gearing up for the move to the big screen. Today, one of our favorite Android apps -- Dolphin -- launched a private beta for its new tablet version.Called Dolphin Browser for Pad, the big brother of Dolphin HD looks to be every bit as customizable and packs a similar array of kicked-up browser functionality. Social sharing is built-in and the company claims Dolphin for Pad "convert[s] traditional websites content into digital magazines."

Interestingly, the app made it into the Android Market sans screenshots -- but expect Dolphin Browser for Pad to look like Dolphin HD with a slightly more desktop-like UI.
