Read The Daily iPad-exclusive digital newspaper online for free

Depending which posts you read about The Daily -- News Corp's new iPad-exclusive digital "newspaper" -- it's either the most amazing thing to happen to print media in a long time, or just another ho-hum e-publication. Either way, there's good content to read -- and you can now do that for free, whether you own an iPad or not.

Waxy.org's Andy Baio built The Daily Indexed, a Tumblr blog that pulls links from the current Daily headlines and cover, and then lays it all out for anyone to enjoy. You won't get a fancy visual experience, of course -- just a straightforward dump of titles, snippets, and bit.ly links to the posts at thedaily.com.
