Immunet becomes default antivirus app in Google Pack

Now, Canadian-made Immunet has been added to the mix. Avast is still offered, but Immunet is now one of the default apps -- select company which only includes Google's own apps and Adobe Reader. To be included in that group is a big deal for the antivirus upstart, considering Immunet has only been available to download since August 2009. This is the company's second big win in 2011, having already gained a big boost in terms of enterprise credibility when it was acquired by Sourcefire.

i use Immunet along with avast
great! but sometimes Immunet finds some viruses that avast can't find,i believe they are false positives,but if they are real threats i think avast sucks cause the number of those viruses are very high.

@mohsenu88
You should never use two anti viruses on the same machine. You will not get better protection, you can only have problems.

@lukic while that's _normally_ true, Immunet is one of the few apps that you can run in tandem with another realtime AV app without any conflicts (that I've seen, and I've had it as a companion app on several systems). That said, it's performed well enough on its own that I don't bother anymore.

I don't see it being accepted for review on AV-Comparatives.org.
Is this too new, a fad, hype, or is the $21M buying price tag impressive enough to make Google distribution line?
There must be something about its quality, what is it?
Hello, somebody?
Help me!
Please.

@jfjb I can only give you my opinion about immunet, but this opinion is from actual experience..When changing from Avast (free) to Immunet 3.0 paid version...Before I installed Immunet, I did one last scan w/Avast...Nothing!!!.......Then installed Immunet,ran a scan and 4 legitimate nasties popped up and helped me get rid of them...
