Google Docs gets starring while editing, Justify setting in the toolbar, better sharing invites
Google Docs has received three updates over the past few days. They are all rather minor in the grand scheme of things, but it's entirely possible that for some users either one could have been the killer feature they've been waiting for.
First off, you can now star a document while editing it. A small addition, but a neat one, and one that's sure to save some time for people who need to star items while they're editing them.
Second, Justify Paragraph has broken out of Format > Align and received its very own icon in the Docs toolbar.
Finally, sharing invitations have been improved to make it easier to start and follow discussions around a particular file. When you share a document with others, all the new collaborators are now included in the email thread. So when someone replies to that email, all the other invitees will automatically see the message. The Google Docs team hopes that this may put an end to multiple email threads about the same file.
