In conjunction with the PC and console launch of Dead Space 2, EA's firing on all cylinders with the launch of Dead Space for iOS. Although Dead Space is now available on both the iPhone and the iPad, EA's unfortunately decided not to make it a universal app, meaning you'll have to buy it twice if you want it on both your iPhone and iPad, and at $6.99 and $9.99 respectively that's not a cheap proposition. But, having spent the best part of three hours glued to an iPad, headphones in, jumping at every turn, and pounding the screen in vain attempts to blow off Necromorph limbs to silence their blood curdling howls, I can safely say this is one to watch.
Later this week, once the screams have ceased reverberating around the walls of the Download Squad bunker, we'll be back with a full review. In the mean time, have a look through the gallery above for some screenshots from the iPad version and hit the break for a gameplay video from EA.
OMG! That looks good especially the iPad screenshots. Damn! Dead Space 2 was just released. I wonder what story is on the iOS. Dead Space 1 maybe? or some sidequest story.
@isotrex It's a totally new story, which explains some of the gap between Dead Space and Dead Space 2. Gripping so far I can tell you, but absolutely must be experienced with headphones on.
