Shazam plugs Spotify into its iOS and Android apps
Shazam and Spotify have announced a new partnership, and the result is a new feature in the Shazam premium apps for iOS and Android. Once Shazam has identified that song for you, you'll be able to tap to listen to it immediately in Spotify. Play in Spotify will also be added to Shazam's free apps at some point in the near future. That sounds great, but it sure would be nice if more of us could actually use a feature like that. After all, Spotify is still struggling to launch in the U.S., and we're guessing that Canada isn't even on the radar yet. Currently you'll only be able to enjoy Play in Spotify if you're in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Spain and the Netherlands.

I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with U.S. citizen's complaining about Spotify. You guys have Hulu, Netflix, Pandora and a bunch of other services we Norwegians can only dream about, because all the content is owned by american corporations.

@TheCrusher Don't get me wrong -- I'd like those services to work elsewhere, too. This post just happened to be about Spotify. Us Canadians are consistently overlooked when it comes to media apps.
