Adobe Acrobat and Reader X now available in 23 languages, Acrobat.com services in 38 countries

Adobe Acrobat X Search and RedactAdobe's Acrobat and Reader X are now available in more languages than ever before. The latest additions are French, German, Japanese, Italian, Swedish, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Norwegian, Finnish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Russian, Polish, Croatian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, and Ukrainian. Adobe Reader X is also available in Catalan and Basque.

Adobe Reader X for Android now offers support for 13 different languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Danish, Brazilian-Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Czech, Polish and Turkish.

But that's not all that Adobe has done to make your Acrobat or Reader experience feel more localized. Locale-specific features have also been incorporated, such as Search and Redact. This comes with patterns for six countries: US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, and Japan. This feature, seen at work in the screenshot to the right, allows you to search for items which are specific to each country (a Social Security Number in the US, for example) and remove them.
Finally, Acrobat.com services such as SendNow and CreatePDF are now available to purchase from 38 countries -- more than twelve times the number available at launch.
