Camelot Smashalot is an Angry Birds clone from Monty Python - Time Waster
If you love Angry Birds, and you love Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you'll probably have a blast playing Camelot Smashalot, a new Web game from Monty Python's "Ministry of Silly Games." Camelot Smashalot plays a lot like Angry Birds, except that you're catapulting livestock at Frenchmen, not birds at green pigs. This might just be an excuse to capitalize on Angry Birds' success, but Smashalot does make sense in the context of the Monty Python movie: there really is a livestock catapult!
As far as gameplay goes, Smashalot is less smooth and refined than Angry Birds, and there aren't as many miniscule pieces of castle to knock down. On the plus side, though, it does feature amusing vocals from Holy Grail, including the standard taunts of the Frenchmen. It won't replace your Birds addiction, but it's plenty of fun for fans of the movie. The Ministry of Silly Games also has a Beta program, allowing you to get in on their other new game releases, so be sure to check that out if you're a Python fan.

i have never played a second of Angry Birds in my life. in fact i don't think i've even watched anyone play it. should i try this game to get a taste of the action or would that just make my first real Angry Birds experience less amazing?
man i really gotta get some sort of Android device. thinking about picking up a Nook Color and rooting it...

While I appreciate how fun and addicting Angry Birds is, I've never understood why people act as though it's the first game of its kind. Most popular, maybe. But not an original concept.
