Android 2.2 Market now shows apps similar to the one you're viewing
The Android Market has seemingly received a 'silent' update overnight. 'Silent' in this case means that you don't have to do any updating of your own, as its being pushed by Google from their end. The update brings a new 'Similar' tab that becomes available while you're viewing any app's information. And, as you'd expect, if you tap on this new tab it will show you a list of apps that Google's algorithms have found to be somehow related to the one you were viewing. The update has apparently rolled out to all Android devices running Android 2.2, and may be a feature that will show up in Android 2.3 Gingerbread as well, if Google ever decides to release that at some point.

It has also appeared on my 2.1 X10i, except it shows as "Related" instead of "Similar".

@jollyrogue Yep, my tab is also labelled "Related" on my 2.2 Desire HD... I'm in UK, perhaps its a regional thing?
Thinking a little more though, I suspect "Related" would be a more accurate description than "Similar", maybe this was spotted and quickly updated. Anyone confirm that they still have the "Similar" tab?
