Google doodles go mobile

Google doodle mobile
Since 1998, Google has been creating modifications to its logo, called 'doodles,' to celebrate special occasions, but they've now become spectacles in and of themselves. They range from the subtle festive cheer, through to productivity destroying time-wasters, to the down right computer- and environment-killing ball renders. But now, for the first time, Google doodles are making the leap to the smartphone. If you've got an Android 2.0+ device or an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS3+, then you'll be able to take part in the quirky fun while on the go. Google says that most of the desktop doodles going forward will have mobile counterparts and all you have to do is head on over to Google.com on your smartphone to see them; let's just hope they bring back Pac-Man for mobile Google.
