RSS readers are not all created equally, especially on iOS, but arguably one of the best, Reeder, which is available for both iPhone and iPad, just keeps getting better. The
recent update to Reeder for iPad sees Delicious integration with YahooIDs as well as the addition of Facebook and Zootool sharing, and best of all, background syncing support for iOS 4.2. Not to be left out in the cold, the iPhone version of Reeder
got updated yesterday to bring feature parity with its tablet brother. Facebook and Zootool support has been added, as well as the ability to save to
Delicious using a YahooID; great news for those who still use the bookmarking service.
Additional gesture support has been added with 'slide to the left' options including 'Send to Instapaper' or 'Send to ReadItLater' meaning you can quickly clip stories for later directly from the article list of any feed. A default recipient email address option for sharing articles via email has also been added, which should speed up sharing via email if you happen to email to a mailing list, bouncing address or to a sharing account.
Reeder 2.2 for iPhone is a worthwhile free update for anyone who uses Reeder for daily sharing or saving later, and is available as always,
from iTunes.
