Look closely at that screen shot where the box for Cydia install is unchecked.
The word is that Cydia hasn't been "fixed" or "upgraded" to work with the new OS.
If there's no Cydia, the world will go deaf with the screams of newbs trying desperately to learn how to use other tools for installation of JB apps.

This is irresponsible guys. 4.2.1 is not jailbroken properly, redsn0w is only out for jailbreak developers to test their apps. Cydia's all broken right now, no use for 99.9% of jailbreakers.

You can't add new sources, but it seems like everything else works fine.

You CAN add new sources.
Click on MANAGE, then SOURCES, then EDIT, then ADD and then type the source URL (without http://) and click ADD SOURCE.

Would be great if you had mentioned, that this is only a tethered JB ... JB'ed immediately after reading your post (ddl included), just to get notified by redsn0w AT THE END OF THE PROCESS, that this is tethered ...
