I have been wondering for a long time why Facebook keeps proposing friends for me that are ex-business associates. There are no links whatsoever in my social network. Every time I log on I have friend suggestions that i have had peripheral business contact with a long time ago. For a long time I was baffled. How on earth could Facebook keep proposing these people I knew, without any link on my other Facebook friends? I then discovered an unopened email on my gmail account with a backup of my old work related contact list. I have never opened this mail, but Facebook has obviously had access to it and is now using this information rampantly. For those of you who believe Facebook or Gmail can be trusted, forget it and wake up. The case with the google earth people scanning and hacking peoples personal wifi networks and reaping info from their pc's is more than somewhat illegal. Any suggestions of an absolutely secure online email client is appreciated.
