Microsoft showcases its executives using Xbox Live avatars
If you head over to Microsoft's official site that lists its various executives, you're in for a treat. Microsoft has had Xbox Live avatars made for each of its execs, and is using them to both bring a little bit of fun into an otherwise bland list of names, and indirectly promote its gaming platform some more.
Now if only you could play an Xbox game against Steve Ballmer... Perhaps another day. For now, you can laugh at his non-existent-in-reality forehead lines. While imagining him shouting "developers! developers! developers!", of course.

The future is now. Its as if Microsoft has listened to its customers and suppliers and delivered exactly what was being asked for.
Watch yourself, Nintendo.

They look an awful lot like miis. With the current console situation though It seems like people are forgetting that Nintendo has had since September of 2006 to perfect their Wii business model. I'm sure in that 4 year time span that they have had plenty of time to decide a new direction for the console. Sony and microsoft are just starting to scratch the surface. I'd assume that next holiday season they have something up their sleeves.

Steve Ballmer almost looks like Steven Jobs.
Put more weight on that avatar and i'll see a difference.
