Windows 7 Family Pack now available in 46 countries
Starting on October 22, the Windows 7 Family Pack special offer has become available outside the United States. Here are the countries in which the offer is already available or will be in the next few weeks: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates.Windows 7 Family Pack allows you to upgrade three PCs to Windows 7 Home Premium at a heavily discounted price. In the US, this is $149.99. The normal price of upgrading just one PC to Home Premium is $119.99, which makes this a very compelling offer -- netting you a total savings of $209.98.
... In the U.S., anyway. Pricing for the Family Pack in the other countries has not been announced, and that's because it will probably vary in each country. It will still be significantly cheaper than purchasing three full-price Home Premium upgrades though, and it looks like supplies are limited -- so if you want it, you need to hurry.

Silly Download Squad! People don't pay for Windows unless the price is built in to a new system purchase.
