Defraggler 2.0 beta gets faster, adds boot-time defrag

The new version is more efficient and faster than ever, and Defraggler can now perform boot-time scans. Using the expanded configuration options in Defraggler 2, you can choose to run a one-time defrag, or you can set it to run each time you reboot your system. Defraggler's Drive Map has also gotten a visual update, and it even allows you to set customized colors and block sizes.
As with older versions of Defraggler, you're still able to exclude certain file types and folders and schedule defrag operations.
Defraggler 2.0 is shaping up to be an impressive update, and the beta has been very stable so far in my testing. Take the new beta for a spin, and share your thoughts in the comments!

How does this to compare to PerfectDisk's boot time defrag, that will actually defrag locked system files and move out the Paging file too.

Doesn't Windows 7 defrag automatically by default? So is a separate program like this of any use to me?

I'm with Pete. With the advent of Windows 7, I've heard that defraggers are a thing of the past.

Defraggler is something I put on the computers of people I don't care about. For myself I only choose the best: OO Defrag...

MyDefrag serves me well and I don't need to look any further.

i vote for: IObit SmartDefrag
the best feature i need in a de-fragmenter is "idle auto de-fragmenting". the ability to set the defragger to analyze your disks and defrag in idle resources/time.
you choose of the CPU and disk usage amount to be considered "idle" (E.G. only defrag when CPU/disk usage below xx%) and also choose "if idle for xx minutes then defrag).
so if your PC is doing nothing important or strenuous resource-wise, and after a certain time, IObit SmartDefrag will defrag your drives without impeding your work and save you messing about with schedules and manual defrags.
best free tool i have next to CCLEANER :)
