Netflix streaming on Wii no longer requires a disc

I've been thoroughly enjoying Netflix on my Wii. It's not perfect, but we Canadians aren't exactly blessed with a plethora of streaming media options. Also, it scores big-time bonus points for offering Blackadder.

One minor gripe about the Wii incarnation: having to use a disc to launch Netflix. Today, however, Netflix has announced that you can now access the app from your Wii Menu -- totally disc-free! Just head over to the Wii shop, download the Netflix app, and you're good to go.

Now, y'all excuse me while I revel in the hilarious antics of Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Laurie...
