Mac OS X to get Windows Phone 7 sync beta this year

Our sister site Engadget is reporting, however, that Microsoft is indeed intending to bring Metro-goodness to OS X users, with a beta sync client that will allow "select" content to be loaded onto a Windows Phone "later in 2010." Select content probably means DRM-free MP3s and maybe a bit of PIM data, but don't expect it to be syncing your iTunes rentals -- DRM issues aside, they're not that buddy-buddy.

How is Microsoft planning on chipping away at iphones market share if windows 7 mobile will not work with Mac computers? What a terrible move on Microsoft's part. They should have come out with this platform before Andriod and done a much better job. Now they seem to be the idea that is too little too late.
