Android Market to begin accepting PayPal payments on October 26?

Google's recent payment expansion was good news for developers and users alike, but there's even better news today. According to The Street, the deal with eBay to integrate PayPal payments is all but done and will be announced at PayPal's developer conference on October 26th.

Enabling PayPal payments for Android Market app purchases is huge, and it will no doubt help attract and encourage more developers. As for what the news means for users -- PayPal works in over 100 countries where Checkout doesn't. It'll also enable Android users with no credit card (like those purchasing pay-as-you-go Android phones) to buy apps with their bank account funds instead.
