Windows Phone 7 launches next week in the US, on T-Mobile
Our special cousins over at Engadget have the scoop: Windows Phone 7 will be unveiled in the US on October 11th, and T-Mobile is the carrier of choice.
We don't have much else to go on, other than the announcement will be in New York City at 3:30PM. There's also a raffle at the end of the event.
The only real news is that we'll soon start to see lots of Windows Phone 7 reviews here on Download Squad -- hooray!

They're being unveiled on the 11th, but the phones are not actually launching until the 8th of November.

Ah, cool. I wonder if the EU release date is the same...

Not so fast. Windows Phone 7 is launching on T-Mobile, but they are also launching on AT&T. Microsoft+AT&T's press conference is being held before T-Mobile's on the same day. Story is over at Engadget: http://bit.ly/9faGt6
