G*****n Work helps Google Chrome users count down to the end of the day
Sure, most operating systems display the time, and the exertion required to figure out how far off 5:00PM is if your clock reads 11:15AM is pretty minimal... But there are days when the grind is all you can take and your brain simply can't handle that smidgen of additional thought.Exhausted, you glance up at your browser for a little good news. 2:20 until you go home! Crap. That means two more hours of feigning interest and four more five-minute trips to the bathroom to kill time. But at least you had the G******n Work extension installed in Google Chrome to give you the heads-up.
I'd like to think that this is the kind of extension Fred Flintstone would use in his browser. You know, rather than waiting on that blasted bird to blare out the end-of-day signal.
ed note: The app's name has obviously offended some readers. My apologies, asterisks, etc.

haha, that comment is either very sarcastic or very funny.

It's your typical rhino-minded "Christian" (I'll put it in quotes as to not offend those Christians who act like proper humans) mentality. They see one word, one phrase, one image that connects with their indoctrinated "blasphemy" or whatever they want to call it, and start loudly yelling and complaining, boasting loudly that they're a "Christian" and that apparently condemns you (the site, the audience, the world, it doesn't really matter) unless you fix it up right away.
Normal humans and even proper Christians know enough to read a little further to understand the context. Had this person done so, they might have still been offended, but they might have realized that the offense was not on DS' part, but instead on the creators of the extension and gone to complain and wave their bloody cross to the proper place.
In the future, Paddy, it's probably okay to just name this like it is and yell out, "Troll!" and be done with them. ;)

I don't know what you consider indoctrinated, but one of the ten commandments (everybody knows them) is not to take the name of the Lord in vain. Also, I completely understand the context, and this should never have been posted IF this is indeed a family-friendly site, simply because of the name of the program.

This isn't a post about religious beliefs. Let's keep the comments related to 1) Chrome 2) the extension itself or 3) the end of the work day
or I'll just disable the comments. Enough.

My work day hasn't even started yet, and I don't work on a computer. So this isn't exactly helpful, but it's amusing to see it out there.
Better? ;)

On the topic of the extension... I just don't see the point. I'm no maths whizz, and I have never had trouble figuring out how long it is until quitting time. If you're on a computer you will always have a clock in front of you, so I just don't see how this function is really any use. Maybe if you did shift work with frequently changing hours, I suppose, since you might not remember every instant when quitting time is, but it seems a very niche thing.

Sigh. Thanks for editing me, cowards.
