Live Messenger for Zune HD now available for download
The Zune HD is a nice little device, but the apps have certainly been slow to arrive. Yesterday, however, a very Metro-looking Live Messenger app made its debut.Functionality-wise, Live Messenger for the Zune is pretty similar to the iPhone app. The main screen allows you to jump to your social stream, friends list, active chats, or the app's options.
Messenger can also display the current song you're listening to, just like its desktop cousin does. Better still, Facebook chat is supported on the Zune app, so you don't have to jump back-and-forth between the Messenger and Facebook apps to keep the conversation going.
You can find Live Messenger in the Zune Marketplace.

When I first saw it in the marketplace yesterday I thought "that's cool....except no one I know uses wlm" now that I know it does facebook, I'm very very happy. It has been crashing a few times for me though, hopefully they'll sort that out quickly.
