The Tracktor brings Amazon price history to Google Chrome
The Tracktor's website is an incredible tool for those of us who shop on Amazon.com frequently. Over the weekend, Tracktor introduced a new Google Chrome extension, which automatically adds their historical pricing data to Amazon product pages as you browse.
Both new and used price history is displayed, and the extension also adds a notification box to the right side of the Amazon page. Set your target price, specify new or used, and Tracktor will let you know when it's time to buy!

i am hesitant of using any of such addons since very often they rewrite amazon urls to insert their own referral tags.
