I hope the bloggers drastically reduce their use of the trendy word 'basically' soon.

E.g. What's the syntactic difference between 'Basically, it runs two tests' and 'It runs two tests'?

Overuse of 'basically' has become a language scourge in the last few years. It's not that it's a new phrase, but rather it's a noise word that doesn't add clarification.
