Pastefire zaps text from your computer to your iPhone
Pastefire is an iPhone app I can't believe I wasn't using before this week. Ever wished you could just send some text from your desktop to your iPhone? That's what Pastefire does, and it does it quickly, easily and for free. I read about it in Lifehacker's new Lifehacker Pack for iPhone, decided to give it a try, and now I'm not looking back.Need to send a recipe to your iPhone or iPad so you can take it into the kitchen with you? You could laboriously retype the URL into your phone, or you could just Pastefire it. Looked up a phone number on your computer, and want to dial it with your iPhone? Pastefire does that, too. You can send text to Pastefire in three different ways: via the Web interface, using a desktop client on Mac or Windows, or via a one-click bookmarklet.
Basically, Pastefire is at the tippy-top of the free iPhone utilities pile, and you shouldn't live without it.

Thanks Jay. Been looking for something like this for sending text to the iPhone easily. I tried using QR Codes, but every iPhone code reader I've found so far hasn't supported Copy & Paste of the resulting text.

Try QR app. It works great, able to copy paste without problem.

Thanks Jay for the post. We created this free app for ourself in a week end a few months ago and glad people still enjoy it
Although most people perceive it as a copy/paste app, it is way more since it understands what you copy and translates it into an action (call, save, send, twit, map,...)
