Ok, now Google is just screwing with us...

A few days back, I came across some vendor-specific files on the public Git repositories for Google Chrome OS. Labeled for Acer, Dell, and HP, the files likely hinted at the fact that the big three OEMs were at the stage where they needed driver support for their Chrome OS hardware.
Yesterday, however, those files disappeared from the repo, and they're still missing today. They've been replaced with what you see above. Yes, either Google is having a little chuckle about this, or Chrome OS is going to run on hardware that was cutting-edge back when I was in elementary school.
Man, I knew I should've tried to fix my C64 instead of scrapping it!
So, who's up for a little Native Client Lego Star Wars on an Amiga? Pics or it didn't happen.

Given that Chrome OS is just a browser I would not be suprised if they enable it to run on ancient hardware (just for kicks)
On the other hand, Google is known for their jokes, so they may just be placing code in for a joke, OR they may allow it to run on old hardware as a joke in-itself

well FireFox is on the Amiga & the newest machine is a 2Ghz multicore platform with 4 PCIe slots but I doubt the C64 could run it with even the most determined programmer.....

Running it on an unexpanded C64 would be quite impossible.
possibly doable when expanded with SuperCPU or with C-ONE
