Get Advanced SystemCare Pro 3 for free -- this week only!

Advanced SystemCare does other neat things too: it bundles other useful little apps to handle other tasks like driver backup, drive space analysis, uninstalling programs, finding duplicate files, editing your context menu, managing startup items, fixing broken shortcuts, and optimizing and freeing RAM.
The pro version offers a few other improvements, like automated maintenance, deeper registry scanning, and smart disk defrag.
Better still, IObit is giving away Advanced SystemCare 3 Pro for (about) 360 hours to celebrate the program's 5th birthday! All you have to do is visit the giveaway page, tick a radio button, and agree to the terms. You won't be eligible for tech support, but that's not really a major downside.
Two quick notes: the verification code is case-sensitive, and the installer will open two IObit web pages when complete. Other than that, the process is annoyance-free.

It's difficult to trust any application offering to "optimize and free my RAM".

i've had this program for a year and my license just expired so this is fantastic news. this is actually a pretty sweet program. very simple to use and works great.

Tried it.. uninstalled it... only after a ferocious battle with task manager, ctl+alt+delete and the power button on my laptop. The registry defrag is just bad.
I should have stuck to my principles and avoided it in the first place. System tune-up apps really aren't my bag. But it's been a while so thought i'd give it a go. Shame on you DLS

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Only thing that would kill my system was holding down the power button. What a POS.

FWIW, several other sites I trust recommend SystemCare -- like Softpedia and CNET.
Prior to posting, I tested the app on Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP and had no freezing issues like you experienced (or any other problems) -- unfortunately, I can't test in every environment.

stay away from anything related to IObits.
they are an extremely shady organization, and very questionable history.
don't trust your computer, and especially security of your computer to this company and their products!
not only do they steal virus definition database from Malwarebytes,
but why would a reputable security organization have a page like http://www.iobit.com/naruto-hentai.html
if you look at their google results you can easily see that they care more about misleading SEO than to actually provide security products.
they are so pathetic they can't even come up with their own unique product names, but rather they have to ride of coattails of other security products
iobits Advanced System Essential, ripping off name of MS Security Essentials.
iobits Security 360 PRO, ripping off name of Norton 360
iobits Advanced SystemCare PRO, ripping off name of MS OneCare.
and up until recently this "security" company was actually reselling AVG antivirus...

What a joke. Thanks for the heads up. That anti-porn software is embarrassing just to read about.

Agreed with MxxCon.
Iobit is not a trustworthy company. Even when caught red handed with evidence, they still deny their theft from MalwareBytes to this day.

Screw IOBit, use CCleaner instead
