Xmarks now syncs your open tabs everywhere
Xmarks is an excellent tool for maintaining the same set of bookmarks in all your web browsers -- on all your computers. It works with Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome and in addition to your bookmarks they've recently been busily adding tab sync support.Today they've announced on the official Xmarks blog that your open tabs are now available anywhere. That includes places where you can't use an Xmarks add-on or extension, like your iPhone or Android handset. Just head to my.xmarks.com and you'll see a new addition to the mobile interface: open tabs.
You can access your tabs from any desktop browser as well. Just open the same page, click the tools button, and choose open tabs from the menu.

Interesting development; something I've wanted for awhile!
FYI: It's available for Safari too.

I am not sure how synced tabs would help me... I am an Xmarks user, long time. Love the app.
Feature I think I would need the most is to store and sync multiple sets of bookmarks. I have one set of bookmarks that goes all the way back to the mid 90s. ... but lately on my media computer and some of my other machines I have a different set of machine use specific bookmarks. It would be really cool to tell a browser to load set B instead of set A.

Yeah, they're crying "too much effort" to maintain the code for both their servers and your own, but I say BS to that.
I just hope someone can look at the code and make it work for our own servers as well,
