Smart ArtTunes adds song info to your iTunes album art for a better heads-up display
You're walking (or driving) along, and your iPhone (or iPod touch) has dimmed the screen. Suddenly a song comes on, and you can't quite place it. You tap the home button to see what it is and who it's by. Unfortunately, the tiny type is hard to read at a glance. If only there was a way to fix that...Developer Vitaly Belman has a solution: automatically create album cover artwork with big, bold song info stamped on it!
Fire up Smart ArtTunes and design your layout. You can drag the artist, song title, and album wherever you want and choose to display your track ratings. A simple right-click allows you to delete any field. Once you're done, click the Generate button and choose a playlist that you want to stamp -- or your entire library.
Now, in addition to that minuscule text beneath the giant clock on your lockscreen, you'll have nice, readable info whenever you tap the home button to wake up your device. Awesome!
Right now, SAT is in closed beta testing. If you'd like to try it out and give Vitaly some feedback, sign up on the project's Web site!

I'm biased since I'm a designer, but it totally ruins the artwork IMO. I'm fine just double-clicking the home button to see the info at a glance.

Major prop's on using my ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG as the screenshot for this article. Modern Man is not only awesome, but we could all learn a thing or two from it.
