Some awesome videos that showcase Adobe Creative Suite 5's potential

First up, because I'm a photographer, and because Adobe is at pains to stress how much it listened to feedback from the photographic community this time around -- over three dozen community-inspired changes! -- let's look at some of Photoshop CS5's new functionality:
Twelve minutes of jaw-dropping awesomeness, right? I'm not particularly impressed by the noise-reduction (the latest breed of digital cameras have good built-in functions for that), but the rest... stunning!
Next, we have the new 'content aware fill'. If you thought you'd seen a lot of funny, 'photoshopped' photos on the Internet, you ain't seen nothing yet...
I marvel at the algorithmic genius that is going on beneath the surface of Adobe's new version of Photoshop, I really do.
Creative Suite 5 also sees the a larger emphasis on 3D tools. You saw a hint of it in the first video, with the elephant's snout, but there's obviously a lot more going on behind the scenes -- take a look at this video:
As you can begin to imagine with such functionality, Adobe is now a very serious contender in the video editing and manipulation sector -- and there's a big 17-minute introduction on 'video in CS5', if you're interested in that area.
Moving away from Photoshop, there have of course been major updates to the entire Creative Suite. Flash CS5, with its AIR and Flash-to-iPhone functions. Dreamweaver CS5 has also seen a lot of new features, such as the ability to integrate/preview designs with CMSes Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress.
I'll leave you with a cool video from After Effects CS5 -- rotoscope with the rotobrush.
Download Squad is in on the CS5 beta, so expect some more Creative Suite news as we get nearer to the release date!

You should really check out the Resynthesizer plugin for GIMP, which have been around since 2004/2005.

What new feature Photoshop are you comparing this to...?

Sorry for not explaining. It's the content awareness feature from about 2:20 in the first movie.
