Fizzik looks to deliver a smarter, more social web browser

Like Flock, Fizzik's aim is to bring a more social experience to your browser. Fizzik, however, sports a very different interface. It's a minimal frame with sharing and bookmarking buttons in the bottom right corner. Perform a search on a site like Google, YouTube, or Flickr, and a thumbnailed list of results slides in on the left-hand side of the window.
The browser also includes some Userscript-type tweaks, which you can see in the screenshot. There's no excess clutter from the YouTube page displayed, just the requested video. By offering users a more distraction-free way to find, view, and share content, Fizzik just might be a browser your parents and less technical friends want to use.
Fizzik is currently in beta and we've reached out for some invites...until there's a public preview, you can get a taste of what's in store by watching the video after the jump.
What do you think? Can you see Fizzik catching on? Or will it be doomed to relative obscurity like Flock?

I guess they have started this project a long time ago... because they missed out on the launch of tabs on all the other browsers.
When I search something, I just press my middle mouse button and open as many tabs as I need. When I'm done, just close that one until you've gone through all of them. Simple and without need of another browser other than your own.

Thanks Lee for giving Fizzik a bit of air time. Grant and I are just two devs who thought we all deserved more out of from Web browsers than just tabs, cookie storage and load times.
But we know we've got alot of ground to cover. If you have some good ideas sign up for our beta and tell us what to work on next.

Cleaning up Youtube is a nice idea. But I do hope that there is an option to revert it. I mean there should be an option to view the web as the author meant it and not just as the browser vendor wants it. Its okay as long as you're doing only the video sites but when I visit a site I need some way to be sure that its the real thing.

I'm gonna sign up for the beta just because there might be something missing. But for now, I'm sticking to my previous comment.
Paul, you'll be hearing a lot of my feedback., so sit tight. :)

1 or 2 plugins for firefox (or chrome if you prefer) could solve all the magic in this thing. I dont really like the main idea, make internet less internet and more television and paper.

Why don't make this as Firefox addon, people always want to explorer not just select one site. This is just a spider browser...

Will be lucky if it has more than 10 users, what's the point of creating a new browser in an already crowded market!
