Customize the Windows 7 task switcher with Alt + Tab Tuner

Margins, spacing, and icon position can also be adjusted, and Tuner can also change the transparency level of the task switcher window. Like the old, minimal task switcher? Check the box, and you've got it. Want the Windows defaults back? That's as easy as clicking a single button.
The adjustments are really just registry tweaks, but Tuner is a welcome alternative if you're not fond of digging around with RegEdit.
Alt + Tab Tuner is a free download, and you can find it at Softpedia.

Did let me tweak some stuff that I liked. I wanted to make my thumbnails bigger, but when I did then they go off my screen. :( Plus a few of the settings, like transparency, didn't seem to do anything. Maybe I just didn't look close enough? Or maybe they are XP only or something?
Overall it let me do a few okay tweaks, but nothing I couldn't live without. I would be interested to see if anyone has any other suggestions for alt+tab tweakers.

@Jon - While using this application you need to make the settings right - only then you will see all the thumbnails on your screen.
This is quite a nice application, just tested it on my windows 7 32 bit

I tried it out and just for fun changed it to the old style, but now it won't change back after several attempts.
