New Firefox add-on lets Mozilla users run Google Chrome extensions
Sure, Google Chrome has a rapidly-growing repository of extensions -- but Firefox's add-on platform is a bit more mature and robust. That enables developers to do certain things that just aren't possible yet in Google Chrome.
Say, for example, creating an add-on for Firefox which allows you to install and use Google Chrome's extensions. Yep. It's called Google Chrome extensions manager and it just hit the add-on site.
Yes, the idea is a little bizarre. For one thing, I haven't found many Chrome extensions which don't have a Firefox add-on counterpart. For another, most people who want to use Chrome Extensions -- well, they probably want to use them in Google Chrome.
The process is cumbersome (you'll have to check out the included readme file) and I had a hard time finding any extensions which worked 100%, but the concept is still pretty damn amazing. Those of you who are feeling adventurous, try it out -- and let us know what extensions you got to work!

I don't think FX users are really in need for Chrome extensions. Serious, I didn't find ONE really useful extension in the Chrome extensions directory. Most of them are copies of copies of other copies... and the original is useless.

Other way around would be more useful I believe
