I don't know how you managed to get your hands on this because it doesn't show up in the Android Marketplace anymore, and though the androlib.com listing exists the barcode points nowhere.

doshman, if past Download Squad posts are any indication, this Android widget might only be accessible to those NOT running Android 1.5 and 1.6 firmware. Not saying that is your issue but some past DS posts on Android specific software have not specified that the software they were highlighting was only available to owners of Android handsets using firmware 2.1+ (i.e. urbanspoon app). I would read a post then only find out I couldn't even view the app in the marketplace. Leaving Android G1 users like me in the past ;)
Just pointing this out in case this is what's happening. I still need to check on my G1.

Hey Chris,
I'm running a Nexus One so I don't think the that should be an issue. If anything, the Google Widget should run best on the Google Phone eh? Haha
I did evbentually find the widget, which works perfectly, as a .apk download from xda-developers.
I'm wondering if it's an issue with location (since I'm in Hong Kong) though the last time I checked the Android Marketplace didn't have anything like this similar to the Apple App store which does.
Let me know if you do manage to pull it to your G1 direct from Marketplace though.
