This isn't so much about a password manager (which opera has) -- it's more about standardizing how we log in to web sites, etc. The doc is worth checking out!

No. Opera has a password manager like all browsers. You probably got confused because the key icon proposed by Mozilla is exactly like the key icon Opera has beside the back/forward button.
This is about a protocol that would exist between browsers and websites for account management. To me it seems like the best idea that has come out of Mozilla in recent years.

Offtopic but Lee, how come Wordpress has given you the ability to go back in time? :-) I see the question posted at 8:10 am and your answer posted at 8:09 am.

We're not on wordpress, but as an Editor in our CMS...
