Web and iPhone booty call app PinpointsX 'points you to passion'

I absolutely must preface this story by saying I do not own an iPhone. I have never used an unsecured cellular phone to arrange a booty call, and I always use cash.

With that out of the way, I give you PinpointsX. Before you get too excited, it seems the mobile version of PinpointsX seem to be offline at the moment (perhaps Apple culled it!), but you can still use the web app.

And boy, if you're into libertarian, no-strings-attached, always-wear-protection-and-read-the-label sex, it's damn cool. After you confirm your date of birth, you're greeted with a rather disturbing menu -- this site isn't only for private 'amateurs', but also for 'establishments' and 'professionals'. I can only assume this means, in not so many words, 'are you a prostitute?'

Assuming you sign up as a 'private adventurer', you can then look around for other 'sensual resources' (their entire site is full of hilarious euphemism) and 'schedule' meet-ups. 'Schedule' must be the least romantic word ever. 'OK, in five minutes I'm going to spoog--', 'No, no, that's when I'm meant to get on my knees. That'll never work. We must stick to the PLAN!', 'OK, synchronize watches...'

PinpointsX is another fine example of technology making things easier, but not necessarily better.
