eBay launches an app for Google Android

The home screen presents you with a search box for finding auctions and Buy It Now items. But if you sign into your account you'll also see buttons marked watching, bidding, won, didn't win, selling, sold, unsold, and scheduled. In other words, it's easy to keep track of all of your existing eBay transactions on the go using the app.
From the search page you can click on any item for more detailed information, which is presented on a text-heavy, image-light web page that should load quickly even on a slow Internet connection. The product page features bid, watch, and refresh buttons, so you can keep tapping the screen furiously in the final seconds of an auction to see if you're winning or if you need to put in another bid.
The eBay application for Android is available as a free download from the Android Market.
You can find a few more pictures after the break.

A frequent user of eBay will feel right at home using pkt eBay. It%u2019s light, quick, and powerful enough to keep the bidding going frequently.

Usual rubbish expected from site like this failing to mention that an app is only available in the US market.
